Grand Prix de Limbourg

Grand Prix de Limbourg

With a few people from Heritage 4 × 4 we participated in the “Grand Prix de Limbourg” edition 2019 on Saturday 20-4-2019. Although intended for “normal road vehicles”, this time there were quite a lot of off road tracks and small roads.

We went from Mechelen (Wittem) in the Netherlands to Voeren / Fouron (Belgium), Kelmis, Montzen, Eupen and via Aachen (Germany) to Vaalserbroek Castle in Vaals, just in the Netherlands.

In the Minerva ambulance from 1953, covers of garden chairs had been placed for a bit more comfort. It is necessary for a ride that starts around 9 in the morning and lasts until about 7 in the evening. At least 120 km or small roads.

The 1975 Police Militaire 88 was also included.

The Minerva had to be refilled from the jerry can and the 88 used both gas tanks.
